Annual Musconetcong River Clean Up (photos)

We had a very strong turnout this year given the great weather.  TU chapter members helped the Musconetcong Watershed Association with their annual river clean up and were joined by families, Scouting groups, church groups, as well as concerned individuals that came out to clean along the roads and in the river's channel.  With a 42 mile long river, there is always plenty to haul away each year!

Our most unusual find this year....

Ridge & Valley TU showed up in force as the Musky is in their chapter area.

Some of the day's haul and this was just one of many sites where the trash was left for town or county pick up.

Scott Catton, new chapter member of Ridge & Valley was literally on a roll during the clean up.  Thanks, Scott!

Here's a shot of our Jersey Shore and E. Schwiebert TU chapters combining to clean the lower river just above the Delaware River.  Thanks for coming out to help!

And after our hard work, we did what we do best which is to fish together for the afternoon hatch.  We saw our first Hendricksons of the spring season.
