On Saturday, March 28, Ridge and Valley Trout Unlimited will hold its annual banquet at Hawk Pointe Golf Club in Washington , NJ. It’s a time to celebrate a new year together, and it is also our primary fundraiser for the year. Proceeds from the event go toward our conservation efforts.
Trout Unlimited is a cold water conservation organization. Our mission statement is “to bring together diverse interests to care for and recover rivers and streams so our children can experience the joy of wild and native trout and salmon.” Ridge and Valley is one of eight local TU chapters in New Jersey. We are based in Califon, NJ, protecting coldwater streams in Hunterdon and Warren Counties.
We work locally to support like minded conservation partners as well as work on some of our own projects. Some recent work we have done includes tree plantings in Califon Park and Miquin Woods Preserve, local stream cleanups, as well as work at an ongoing stream restoration on the Lopatcong Creek in Phillipsburg. We also advocate to protect water and stream quality.
We are soliciting donations of merchandise, services, and/or gift certifications for our auction. If you could please include your business card for advertising
purposes so our membership can be supportive of your establishment. Your generous support would be greatly appreciated. Ridge and Valley TU is a 501(c) (3)
