Noseeum Lodge
About us
No See Um Lodge is a family-run operation that was established by Jack Holman in the early 70’s. Today his son, John, who is both a pilot and a guide, maintains No See Um’s well-earned reputation for pampering and pleasing its guests. John has been living, fishing, guiding and flying in Alaska for most of his life. He and his guides know the best fishing spots and how to get you there safely. Everyone at No See Um is anxious for your trip to Alaska to be “the trip of a lifetime.” The lodge is staffed by the finest talent available. Guides are eager to make your Alaskan fishing vacation successful; their knowledge, enthusiasm and instruction will ensure success for the novice and expert alike. The willingness of No See Um Lodge’s team to provide the best for their guests – both on the water and at the lodge – have put the lodge in a class by itself . . . truly Alaska’s Finest Fishing Lodge!
What we do
We are a fly-out lodge, doing primarily fly fishing trips. We host a maximum of 12 guests a week for 7 day all-inclusive fishing packages. Our location allows us to fish for a variety of fish including all 5 species of pacific salmon (kings, silvers, sockeye, pinks, chums), rainbow trout, pike, char, grayling, and lake trout.
Where we do it
Overlooking the pristine waters of the Kvichak River in Southwest Alaska. No See Um Lodge is centrally located between several fisheries and our average flight to any destination is about 30 minutes. Our convenient location on the Kvichak gives us the opportunity to fish right in our own backyard using one of our inboard jet boats. This also gives us the ability to go out by boat if the weather prohibits flying. With our fleet of Beavers we can access over 30 rivers and streams. These rivers and streams include Moraine Creek, Brooks River, Upper and Lower American Creek, Kulik River, Copper River, Talarik Creek and as far South as the Egegik River and Ugashik Narrows to name a few.
