Volunteer Locally

Meet people like you who have a passion for making the rivers we care about that much better for future generations!

As an all-volunteer, local nonprofit, we rely on people like you to step up in many ways to make a difference, keep our chapter community strong, and grow our impact through conservation projects and education programs. Volunteers help us:

  • Make our rivers healthier by attending one-day events like trash cleanups and tree plantings
  • Invest in the future by supporting our youth education programs or serving as a mentor at a youth fishing day
  • Lead the way by serving on one of our committees or joining our board of directors

Whether you have the time to come out once a year to roll-up your sleeves for our rivers by finding a volunteer event that matches your interests on our online calendar, or are looking for a deeper involvement or more frequent volunteer opportunities, we welcome everyone who has the time, talent and passion to make a difference.

To get started, connect with a RVTU board member at one of our monthly gatherings or upcoming events, or contact us to learn more.

Thank you for all you do for the Ridg & Valley Chapter!
