POTLUCK FUNDRAISER NETS OVER $1800 FOR COLDWATER CONSERVATION 12-19-15
On the evening of Saturday December 19th 2015, Ridge and Valley Trout Unlimited (RVTU) hosted their annual potluck fundraiser. Approximately 60 people attended and brought a contribution for dinner and dessert. A fun time eating, drinking, and being merry was had by all. The fundraiser netted $1812 through a raffle and a silent auction, which will go to support future coldwater conservation projects in Northwestern NJ.
A special thanks goes to numerous RVTU members who donated items including homemade flies and a homemade fly tying station for the fundraiser. Also special thanks to small businesses Allen Fly Fishing, Ramsey Outdoor, Shannon's Fly and Tackle Shop, Shu-Fly Tackle and Fly Shop, and Tight Lines Fly Fishing for donating fishing gear. Last but not least, special thanks to Fredy DeLeon and Jessica Griglak for their hard work behind the scenes to organize the fundraiser.
