Last year Andy Bielecki brought to our attention a roadside pullout along the lower Pequest River that was a target for illegal dumping.  We talked to Alex Lazorisak from the Warren County DPW about fixing this situation.  With Alex's support, we worked with Warren County DPW last October to clean up the area and remove large trash items such as old appliances, furniture, TVs, and car tires.

However, we did not want this area to become a repeat target for illegal dumping.    Alex worked with his colleagues, and Warren County put up a guardrail so that people could no longer stop and dump large items.  We checked the area after the guardrail was put up and saw that there were no large trash items.
