ANNUAL MUSCONETCONG WATERSHED CLEAN UP APRIL ,12TH, 2014

Please come out for the annual Musconetcong River clean up on Saturday, April 12th from 9 am – noon. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided along with bottled water for our volunteers. While Trout Unlimited members can choose from one of three meeting locations: 1) Sand Bar Park/Alumni Field off Willow Grove Street (just north from route 46/Main Street) on the upper river, 2) Hampton Borough Park just below rt. 31 in Hampton Borough off Park Drive, or 3) at the old Hughesville paper mill on Cypher’s Road near its intersection with route 627 (Riegelsville Warren Glen Road), we are asking Ridge & Valley TU members to meet at the Hackettstown location.  Our chapter will be cleaning in and along the river from Hackettstown downstream to Point Mountain Trout Conservation Area.  Please contact Brian Cowden, Musconetcong Home Rivers Initiative Coordinator if you can help on that day at: BCowden@tu.org  or simply show up at Sand Bar Park/Alumni Field in Hackesttown by 9 am on Saturday the 12th.

Bring your fishing gear and plan to fish after the work is done! Our Hendrickson mayflies should be hatching by then in the afternoon.
